Mr Jeremy Wilson MBBS FRACS(Plas) Registered Medical Practitioner with a General and Specialist Registration Registration Number: MED0001157440 Specialty: Surgery – Plastic Surgery Mr Jeremy Wilson is a fully trained Specialist Plastic Surgeon who is internationally recognised as both an innovator and expert in cosmetic and reconstructive regenerative facial surgery.

Jeremy graduated from The University of Melbourne in 1994 before undertaking his Basic Surgery Training at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. Jeremy commenced his specialist training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2000 and was awarded a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2004. During his specialist training, Jeremy was privileged to gain experience and refine his skills in all aspects of plastic surgery under the mentorship of leading plastic surgeons, including world leaders in reconstructive microsurgery, facial aesthetic surgery, regenerative medicine, and tissue engineering. After gaining his Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Jeremy spent a further four years (2004-2007) as a Microsurgery Research Fellow at St Vincent’s Hospital and The Bernard O’Brien Institute of Microsurgery in Melbourne. During this time, Jeremy engaged in collaborative, innovative research as a PhD candidate at The University of Melbourne and further developed his clinical skills in reconstructive microsurgery and complex head and neck reconstruction.

Post-fellowship Jeremy has developed a special interest in cosmetic and reconstructive regenerative facial surgery through ongoing acquisition and refinement of clinical skills supported by innovative research. Jeremy’s past and ongoing research is aimed at better understanding the natural laws that govern body shape and the scientific basis of body reshaping in response to plastic surgery. Jeremy has used observations form this unique and innovative research to guide improvements to existing techniques and to develop new techniques aimed at improving the quality of clinical outcomes for his patients. Jeremy has authored multiple publications in the plastic surgery literature and presents regularly at national and international plastic surgery and aesthetic meetings.

Over the past 2 decades Jeremy’s contributions and skill have been acknowledged by his peers both nationally and internationally as an invited speaker and author of book chapters on a variety of subjects including facelift surgery, facial anatomy and improvements to facial surgical techniques. Jeremy has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards and scholarships including The University of Melbourne Melville Hughes Scholarship (2006) and The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Surgeon Scientist Award on 4 occasions (2005-2008).
